A Void for Zoea
A downloadable game for Windows
A Void for Zoea an interactive story. Inspired by classic text adventures, this game adds a visual spin on the genre to tell a story of loss and hope. By typing commands into the console you navigate around the world and talk to its inhabitants.
The Void, an inescapable nothingness, shrouds the edge of the world in darkness. The Voidwalkers live at the front of the Void, cut off from the Centre. The broken company monitors changes to the Void by navigating its twisted geometry. Their role was secondary to the people of the Centre, as it was well believed that there was nothing in the Void other than Shades. However, this was soon to change, when the first Devices were found in the Void, mysterious technology from a forgotten age. This is the diary of Voidwalker AO00.
Playtime: 1-2 hours.

cool game
Spell-binding. Exquisite story telling.
An immersive, intriguing game set in a hauntingly beautiful and bleak world, rich in detail whilst maintaining its integral sense of emptiness. The dialogue is at times humorous, at others tragic, but compelling throughout, whilst the overarching narrative is clever, thought-provoking and perhaps will even prompt some self-reflection. Like a good book you can't stop thinking about the world long after you've left. Beautiful.
